Whether you like it or not, the Philadelphia Eagles are linked to Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. As a football move, this is a no brainer. But when you have more than two dozen women claiming sexual misconduct the move is.....gross. But its a story none the less. So when ESPN's Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show he gave an update on the case/trade rumors.

"(The Texans) have not engaged with teams at all," Schefter told Bob Cooney and Jamie Lynch. "The only factor I can come up with is its tough to trade a guy under these circumstances and how can you trade FOR a guy and the case goes the other way?'"

And while that makes perfect sense, according to Schefter there were those that thought a trade was going down very soon. As soon as last Sunday.

"There were people (Watson's private quarterbacks coach) who thought a trade was going to go down soon."

While the Eagles havent made any trades yet, they did alter the roster recently. The Eagles recently signed cornerback Steven Nelson. And Schefter seemed to like the move.

"Why would (The Eagles not sign Nelson)? He was a very productive player for the Steelers last year. I think teams just didnt value him like he valued himself so he took the best deal he could."
