Its been pretty quiet at Novacare as the Eagles prepare to open up training camp. While not much is expected in terms of wins and loses, this season is seen more of a developmental season for the Birds. And one of the biggest new additions that has fans excited is rookie wide receiver Devonta Smith. And apparently his teammates feel the same way.

Eagles offensive linemen Lane Johnson joined Good Morning Football and discussed the excitement in the building for Smith, and what he brings to the table.

“We call him the slim reaper. You can see it early on in camp man. His ball skills, his change of direction. He doesn’t say a whole lot but he does show a whole lot of what hes capable of. And I think when you have a guy that high caliber I think he does nothing but bring everyone else along in the receiver core. Were excited about him. I think hes going to do tremendous things this year and yea the slim reaper….watch out for him.”

While trying to temper expectations I think its safe to say that Devonta Smith is the greatest wide receiver of all time. Check out the full clip below
