ESPN’s Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show and shared some rather optimistic takes on the 2021 Eagles and their roster. Despite being in a rebuild, Schefter claimed that he felt people were being a little too down on the Eagles because of the lingering stench of last season’s awful year.
“I think they have more talent in place than people think and people are remembering what a disaster last year was. Just because last year was a disaster doesn’t mean this season will be.”
Not only did Schefter say that this year doesn’t have to be a disaster year for the birds, but he actually was high on a couple of the Eagles’ young offensive skill players.
“So much is contingent upon the quarterback and what he can and can’t do… but I think they have more talent on offense than people realize. I think Jalen Reagor is going to have a big year and show why he was a 1st round pick, they obviously have DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert is a great young tight end… I think they have more talent than people realize.”
Schefty also took the time to discuss upcoming NFL Training Camps, and a look forward to what the league will look like with full attendance back in stadiums this fall! You can listen to his full appearance on The John Kincade Show below:
