Not good news. The MVP candidate is doubtful for game 5 according to ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski

That the Sixers are looking at game 5 as an opportunity to rest Embiid. You have the Sixers, a 1 seed, facing the Wizards a 10 seed 8 seed. Even with Ben Simmons in early foul trouble, Joel Embiid’s backup getting called for a foul for sneezing on a guy, and Tobias Harris shooting troubles they still almost won game 4 on the road. So even without Embiid theres no real reason to think they cant eliminate the Wizards in game 5.
