LANDOVER, MD - DECEMBER 30: Ryan Kerrigan #91 of the Washington Redskins sacks Nick Foles #9 of the Philadelphia Eagles during the second half at FedExField on December 30, 2018 in Landover, Maryland

If you were unaware, the Eagles recently signed defensive end Ryan Kerrigan to a 1 year deal. Hes a very productive player and $3 million dollars is a good price for a guy with over 95 sacks in his career. But the fact is Kerrigan was still unsigned in mid-May. So what are the Eagles getting? ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show for his weekly hit (every Wednesday at 8:10am) and told us what the Birds are getting in the 4 time Pro-Bowler

“Hes got some (gas left in the tank.) There was interest in the league. Pittsburgh and Cincinnati both wanted him but he chose Philly. He brings intangibles,” Schefter told the crew. “He can teach guys how to be a pro. No, hes not the Ryan Kerrigan he was 10 years ago. But hes someone you want in the locker room.”

Schefter also discussed the Eagles reluctance to name Jalen Hurts the starting quarterback.

“Fans want to hear the Eagles say ‘thats our guy’ but the truth is, maybe hes NOT their guy. Has he proven himself yet?”

No Schefty. No he has not. The full interview is below for your listening pleasure.
