For the fourth consecutive season Joel Embiid will be starting for the Eastern Conference in the All-Star Game. The former 3rd overall pick will be heading to Atlanta for the March 7th exhbition where he will hit the court with fellow starters Kyrie Irving (Nets) Kevin Durant (Nets) Bradley Beal (Wizards) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks). He is the first Sixer to start four straight All-Star games since Allen Iverson. Embiid was third in Eastern Conference voting, only behind Durant and Giannis. Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris were also in the voting.

Embiid is having an MVP like season. Averaging over 29 points a game, over 10 rebounds a game, and 1.2 blocks per game. Over his last 12 games Embiid hasnt dipped below 25 points. He also leads the league getting to the line, averaging over 9 free throws a game.
