Carson Wentz Trade Could Come “As Early As This Week”
We got a hint of this on Wendsday when Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show and said Carson Wentz wanted out and because of that he expected Wentz to be traded. Well Adam Schefter doubled down with that report in a tweet Saturday afternoon saying that the Eagles are expected to trade Carson Wentz in the coming days. The big question is where, when, and for how much.
Eagles are expected to trade Carson Wentz in the coming days in what would be the latest blockbuster QB deal to rock the NFL, sources tell @mortreport and me. The most pertinent questions now become where, when and for what. But it could happen as early as this week.

Wentz has spoken publicly ONCE since he was benched and that was a tweet that was #Ad. Even when head coach Doug Pederson was let go Wentz did not put out a statement. It seems that Wentz has indeed asked for a trade but a formal trade request wasnt made public. Which is a good thing for the Eagles in terms of leverage.
In terms of what the Eagles could get? Schefter joined Andrew Salciunas and discussed what the Eagles are looking for. And its a lot.
"The Eagles want the Matthew Stafford package...when the Eagles trade Wentz, I believe they will get a handsome package back" --Adam Schefter on 97.5 The Fanatic live with @asalciunas975 now on 97.5 The Fanatic@AdamSchefter
