Marcus Epps will be out for some time after being the latest player in the NFL to test positive for the coronavirus

Safety Marcus Epps has tested positive for the coronavirus and is in self quarantine. Epps was last in the Eagles facility on Wednesday when he got the news of the positive test. He’s been in self isolation ever since.

The Eagles, like every team who has a member test positive, is now in the NFL intensive protocol. Its fortunate for the Eagles that they are on the bye this week or else a potential game on Sunday could’ve been in jeopardy.

Epps joins Lane Johnson, Nate Gerry, and head coach Doug Pederson as Eagles who have tested positive for the virus. Epps is the first player to test positive for the Birds in season.
