As baseball slowly makes it way back (painfully slow I might add) the Phillies set their “spring training” roster. Even though they were allowed to add 60 players to the team, the Phillies elected to add just 53 for the time being.
“They’re going to add someone as they go along here. See who becomes available, just like they do on a football roster,” Phillies beat writer Bob Brookover said Monday morning when he joined Marc Farzetta. “Im sure the Phillies will add, and maybe subtract from this 53. But the 7 guys they add are pretty unlikely to have much of an impact anyway.”
