Fletcher Cox joined Lane Johnson’s “Outside the Lane” Instagram show on Friday night and by the end of the 28-minute episode, the two Eagles turned their attention to one of their favorite teammates.
First, Cox told a story about how Brandon Graham once set off fart bombs in the Eagles’ locker room. A story which Graham clarified on Monday.

And then Johnson decided to keep the conversation going about Graham, who is the longest-tenured player on the team and one of the longest-tenured in the city.
Lane Johnson: What most people don’t know, … who is the biggest shit talker on the team?
Fletcher Cox: BG!
LJ: Hey, is it unbelievable?
FC: Hey, man, listen. Let me tell you something about BG. Obviously we play beside each other, right. He be on the field talking smack to the tackle, doing all this. I be like, ‘BG, you know this man finna double-team me, right, and f- me up.’
LJ: You’re ramping him up for Fletch to take the load.
FC: That’s what I’m saying. He’ll be like, ‘my bad.’
LJ: The most trash I think I’ve seen him talk is every time we play the Cowboys, him and La’el Collins are just nonstop.
FC: From the first … ‘Hey boy, I’m gonna get you boy, yeah boy, you fat boy! … That’s his favorite thing right there. I ain’t never seen somebody talk s- with a mouthpiece in their mouth. You know, he wear the pacifier. ‘Yeah, fat boy.’
LJ: The pacifier, you know he can’t breathe out that damn thing. That’s why he be gasping for air.
Yes, Graham is a notorious trash talker. In fact, he’s just a notorious talker. He’s definitely an energy guy in the locker room and on the field.
Here’s a pretty good sampling of his trash talk prowess:
So if the NFL thinks about mic’ing up players for the 2020 season, consider this a formal request to get Graham on that list.
