If you happen to be watching the ARCA Showcase race from Pocono Raceway on Friday night, you might just see a familiar logo.

Stock car driver Sam Mayer, 16, will be racing in a car with a Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation paint scheme during the race that airs on FS1 at 6 p.m. on Friday.

This is the first of several non-profit paint scheme cars that Mayer will be in for the ARCA Series in 2020. The others are the Thielen Family Foundation, With Us Foundation, Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and the Bart and Cherry Starr Children’s Fund.

But Wentz’s AO1 Foundation is up first.

This is happening thanks to a partnership between Mayer and Capture Sports Marketing, which handles Wentz’s foundation.

“The nonprofit paint schemes are not only going to look awesome, but they are a way for race fans to become aware of nonprofits that are helping people during the challenging times we’re in,” said Mayer, the youngest driver in NASCAR history, in a statement.

“I’m thankful that during all of my ARCA series races I can also play a small role in helping others and encouraging fans to support nonprofits founded by professional athletes. I’m going to work hard to bring their names to victory lane!”

Wentz began the AO1 Foundation early in his career with the goal of “uplifting individuals and communities around the world by demonstrating God’s love for His people.”

The foundation’s big event every year is a softball game at Citizens Bank Park. This year, the game was canceled because of the coronavirus but is expected to be back on next year. In its place, the foundation raised $137K for COVID-19 relief.
