Ben Simmons certainly knows how to respond to an award-winning week.

The 6-10 guard, sometimes forward and emergency center, posted 34 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals in Monday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets. It just so happens he was named Eastern Conference player of the week during that performance.

During his award-winning week, Simmons averaged 21.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists, leading the Sixers to three wins in four games. His 34 points on Monday tied his career high.

The team has now won four in a row, including two straight on the road. They will travel to Toronto for a Wednesday night game, before hosting LeBron James and the Lakers on Saturday.
