A month after the big game two rival teams come together to save a life.

CBS3 reports that die hard Eagles fan Patti Pizzimenti needed a kidney transplant and received one from Patriots fan, John Houlihan.

Although the transplant occurred on March 8 they did not meet until Wednesday, November 13.

The pair met at Yale—New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and Pizzmenti gave Houlihan a shirt that read “Can you believe I gave a kidney to an Eagles fan?”

This program at Yale is only for living kidney donors who are donating on behalf of someone who is in dire need of a kidney. This chain, as the hospital calls it, has led to dozens of life saving transplants.
