Pederson announced Wednesday that DeSean Jackson will practice for the first time in about a month and is “optimistic” Jackson will return on Sunday.

Jackson has missed six games this season after suffering an abdominal injury in the Week 2 games against Atlanta.

Jackson opted against surgery and has been taking the time to heal, but when he does return he is not expected to be 100 percent.

Darren Sproles, Avonte Maddox, and Tim Jernigan were also practicing Wednesday. Among those who didn’t practice were Miles Sanders, Jason Peters, and Nigel Bradham.
