The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly cutting ties with Orlando Scandrick after signing him to a one year contract, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Scandrick played in three games with the team. In week 5 he had a pair of sacks and a pair of forced fumble. In Sunday’s week 7 loss against Dallas he played 51% of the snaps.
Will releasing Scandrick help fix the secondary? That remains unclear, but the Eagles need to take action after the last two games and hope they can bounce back from this.
