Thursday the Super Bowl Halftime Show headliners were announced and this year J-Lo and Shakira will be performing. No other details have been announced, but the decision to have these two take the stage made Dee Snider throw shade at the NFL.

Snider tweeted “Shakira and J-Lo for this year’s NLF halftime show? Once again the great heavy music that rocks the stadiums week after week, game after game, is completely ignored. I guess we don’t shake our [explicit] enough!”

A representative for the NFL says the league provides the Super Bowl host city — in this case, Miami — with a “short list” of suggested performers, but the city makes the final choices.
