Monday afternoon, coach Doug Pederson gave out some good news regarding some injured players.

Pederson said the team fully expects Brandon Brooks, Nigel Bradham, Fletcher Cox, and Ronald Darby to play on Sunday against Washington and all four practiced on Monday.

In addition to those four, Derek Barnett will be good to start Week 1 and Lane Johnson will also be ready to play.

All four starters have been rehabbing lower-body injuries this summer

Cox and Bradham are recovering from foot injuries suffered in a playoff  game against the Saints on January 13.

Brooks tore his Achilles tendon in the same game against the Saints. If he does play Week 1 he will be making his return less than eight months from his injury date. Halapoulivaati Vaitai would play if Brooks can’t.

Darby started nine games at cornerback before he tore his right ACL last November but is expected to start along with Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox.
