Tim McManus reports the following highlights from Eagles training camp on Tuesday July 30, 2019:

  • It was a hot one at the Novacare Complex.
  • Camp lasted 3 hours today.
  • Lots of hard hitting
  • Carson Wentz is meeting expectations…looking very solid with many elite passes
  • Much of today’s passing was to Nelson Agholor.
  • The offensive provided lots of “fireworks” today.
  • Running back Miles Sanders looks impressive…very encouraging.
  • At corner back, Tim says Sidney Jones looks impressive and earn a starting position, but Tim also says if Ronald Darby is healthy he will start.
  • When Mike Missanelli asked Tim if all the optimism for this team was warranted, McManus answers “I think that they are a contender.”
