Tim McManus reports the following highlights from Eagles training camp on Tuesday July 30, 2019:
- It was a hot one at the Novacare Complex.
- Camp lasted 3 hours today.
- Lots of hard hitting
- Carson Wentz is meeting expectations…looking very solid with many elite passes
- Much of today’s passing was to Nelson Agholor.
- The offensive provided lots of “fireworks” today.
- Running back Miles Sanders looks impressive…very encouraging.
- At corner back, Tim says Sidney Jones looks impressive and earn a starting position, but Tim also says if Ronald Darby is healthy he will start.
- When Mike Missanelli asked Tim if all the optimism for this team was warranted, McManus answers “I think that they are a contender.”
