Kyle Giersdorf of Pottsgrove PA nets $3,000,000 Sunday in New York, taking the top prize in a Fortnite tournament.

Giersdorf, 16 was part of a group of 100 on line video players playing for their share of $30 million in prize money.

Kyle playing name is “Bugha” and won the solo finals of the Fornite World Cup.  He scored 59 points.  That’s more than double the number 2 player.

“Words can’t really explain it. I’m so happy,” Giersdorf said. “Everything I’ve done in the grind has all paid off and it’s just insane.”

The $3 million prize is the largest payout for a single player in an esports tournament.
