Dave Zangaro, Eagles reporter with NBC Sports Philadelphia called into “Farzetta & Tra In The Morning” on Monday July 29th with some thoughts on this past weekend’s Eagles Training Camp.

Saturday was the first day of pads and hitting and many Eagles were excited about it, especially strong safety Andrew Sandejo and linebacker Alex Singleton…who may have been hitting a little too hard!

Carson Wentz and DeSean Jackson continue to work on their “chemistry”….with many passing drills over the weekend.  Zangaro points out that “Carson’s never had a guy that fast” to throw to…and he’s adjusting to that.

Tra Thomas observed that Carson had an “off day” at camp this past Saturday where he was seen overthrowing receivers a few times.  Zangaro says that off days happen during camp, but over all Wentz is “leaner, healthier and more sure of himself”.

The guys also wondered if corner back Sidney Jones was competing for the starting job.

Lots of great weekend training camp coverage this morning.   Click here to listen to the entire conversation.
