Preparation began Thursday as the Philadelphia Eagles took to the practice field at the NovaCare Complex in hopes the season will end in Miami at the big game.

According to ESPN Eagles Beat Reporter, Tim McManus, here are a few takeaways from Day 1:

1. Carson Wentz looks leaner and still has a cannon of an arm.

2.  Rookie running back Miles Sanders returned to practice after missing the spring with a hamstring injury.

3.  After a lengthy injury, Mack Hollins looks healthy

4. Brandon Brooks is less than seventh months off his surgery and was active at practice Thursday.
5. The starting defensive lineup will be interesting to watch throughout camp as key injured players continue to recover.
