I’m liking the Sixers fee agency moves right now (not loving it)

We need to trust that Joel Embiid is going to come in next year and have the mindset of team over everything.

The Sixers are going tbe dependent on him to be that the leader.  For example, if Joel’s knees are sore at the All-Starbreak, what’s he going to do?  Will he make the decision that’s best for the team or what’s best for him?  Because that’s what being leader is all aboutAre you willing to make decisions that’s going to help the team and not just something that’s going to make you feel  good.

Will Ben Simmons be that guy?  He’s going to need to step it up.  Ben can we count on you to work on your free throws?   Can we count on you to work on those 10 to 15 foot shots?  Can we count on it?

Because that’s what they’re going to have to do.

With Jimmy Butler gone, who’s your alpha guy now?

You knew that that Butler was that guy.  Joel and Ben it’s up to you guys now…you guys are going to have to step up.  This is your team.  Which one of you guys is going to be the vocal one?

For me,  would like for Joel to be that guy just because he has personalityHe’s the one that’s the instigator.  He’s the one who’s getting the crowd into it.

He’s the one that has the big social  media presence.  He’s that guy.   She’s going to have to be the guy on the court and off the court and when it’s time to make decisions for the team.
