Seven Year-Old Flyers Fan Gets Surprise Visit from Gritty in Hospital

Flyers fan, Caiden O'Rourke got a big surprise Tuesday morning when Gritty paid a visit! Caiden is a patient at Philadelphia's Shriners Hospital for Children after he was born with a rare orthopedic condition.

Caiden has two prosthetic legs and asked for a custom Gritty themed prosthetic. Cue Gritty to deliver Caiden with his Gritty themed prosthetic leg and a custom Flyers jersey with his name on the back.

The surprise comes a week before Caiden’s 8th birthday.
